App Ops

App Ops is an app that lets you individually manage app permissions for the apps installed on your Android. For example, you can refuse an app access to your contacts list or phone call history. And, of course, if at any point you want to enable permission again, you can do so.

It is important to bear in mind that in order to use App Ops, you need to have your device rooted or use the Shizuku Manager app. If your Android has root privileges, the only thing you need to do is follow the simple instructions given by the app. The Shizuku Manager alternative, although it doesn't require root privileges, is a lot more complicated (though luckily it provides a detailed tutorial).

One of the most interesting functions of App Ops is that it lets you see a list of how many apps have access to each permission. This means that you can immediately see how many of your apps have access to your location, can use your camera or can read your text messages. All you need to do is tap on each permission to see a list of all the apps that have access.

App Ops is a very useful app, thanks to which you can refuse unnecessary app permissions, quickly and easily. It is quick and easy as long as you have root privileges, otherwise, the process is pretty complicated, as you need a computer and cable to connect your Android device to your PC.
